Seize (band)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Seize is a British electronic band started by Sandrine Gouriou in 1994. She was joined by Steven Young in 1997. The band released their debut EP Blades in 1999 and their debut album Lunacy in 2000. The third member of Seize, Rosie Harris, joined in 2002. In 2003, they were signed to Alfa Matrix records and subsequently launched their second album The Other Side Of Your Mind, which came as a standard single CD edition, as well as a limited double CD edition with remixes done by fellow Alfa Matrix artists. Seize themselves have remixed numerous tracks for other bands, including In The Nursery, Hungry Lucy, Glis, Neikka RPM and Implant.

In 2005 Seize has expanded it's areas of influence with Steve, Sadrine and Rosie joining the newly reformed Visage as the live band and to provide skillis in updating old material and producing new songs.

They have also managed to get their side project, O.V.N.I, signed to Alfa Matrix as well.
