Here is a link to a discussion of the article: User talk:Func#W. Mark Felt. → JarlaxleArtemis 03:25, Jun 18, 2005 (UTC)
Since the article's originator removed everything from my talk page, (and since I don't want to dump all of it here), here are the diffs: [1], [2], [3]; and here is the last version of User:Sid33's page before he blanked it: [4]. I am sorry that the originator was so upset, but people really need to read the bottom of each and every single Wikipedia page (when in edit mode):
- All contributions to any page on Wikipedia are released under the GNU Free Documentation License (see Project:Copyrights for details).
- If you do not want your writing to be edited mercilessly and redistributed at will, do not submit it.

[edit] Clarification
Greetings,
I am posting as a staff member at Security Forums Dot Com, and official representative for this matter. The article under discussion was originally created by a member of our forum, who was well intentioned and very eager to help, but acted without first having consulted with the forum staff.
Upon being informed of this, the SFDC staff asked the creator of the article to consult with the Wikipedia administration regarding the article's validity, as we did not want to use Wikipedia's resources for spamming our website. Some efforts were made by us to make the article somewhat more neutral and generally useful, but in the end we decided to ask the user to remove the content so as to avoid self-promotion or spam.
The ensuing confusion, for which we appologize, was caused by a lack of communication between ourselves and said member. Trying to follow our request to remove the potentially offending article, the creator of the article ended up unwillingly disrespecting the established wiki procedures and apparently causing a commotion over the matter, through not establishing a dialog at the proper time to explain it all. We did not intend for this to happen, as incidentally neither did our user.
We would of course be happy to have a useful, relevant article about our site at Wikipedia. However, we would also understand it should this particular article be considered worthy for deletion on grounds of being self-promoting.
Regards,
- Capi, SFDC Moderator
