Although plenty of links are given in the article, most are to blogs, chat forums, Yahoo groups, Geocities pages, Google cache entries, etc. and many lead to blank web pages. Do we have any verifiable, citable, references for this topic from mainstream media or academic sources? -- The Anome 12:52, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Some references (books and periodicals) have been added. --Cardreader 22:31, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Good! Can someone please go through this article and remove all the links to no-longer-existing blog and/or forum entries? At the moment, they make that article look like it is copiously referenced, when many of the links actually lead to nowhere. -- The Anome 22:53, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

I have fixed the links. Two of the links led to documents that have just been deleted. However the copies of the documents exist elsewhere on the web, and I have added those links.--Cardreader 23:03, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Anome: Thank you for your editing.--Cardreader 21:48, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

I have reinstated my earlier edit to the first paragraph; the article clearly says later on that the circular was distributed by several different organisations.Hornplease 08:23, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
