Secretary of Public Education

In Mexico, the Secretary of Education (formally, the Secretary of Public Education) is the head of the Secretariat of Public Education (in Spanish: Secretaría de Educación Pública, SEP). The secretary is a member of the federal executive cabinet and is chosen discretionally by the Mexican president.
The current Secretary of Education is Reyes Tamez Guerra.
