The Secretary of Energy is the head of the Mexican Department of Energy (Spanish Secretaría de Energia or SENER) concerned as the name suggests, with energy production and regulation.

The Secretary is a member of the President's Cabinet. The current Secretary of Energy is Georgina Kessel.
