From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The South Eastern and Chatham Railway (SECR) P Class is a class of steam locomotive originally designed for lightweight passenNIGELger trains, and later used for shunting. They were based on the LB&SCR A1 Class "terriers" and eight were built in 1909 and 1910.
No less than four (i.e. half the class!) have been preserved; 27, 178, 323 and 753.
