The South Eastern and Chatham Railway (SECR) H Class is a class of 0-4-4T steam locomotive designed for passenger work, designed by Harry Wainwright.

64 were built between 1904 and 1909, with a further two erected in 1915 on the orders of Richard Maunsell which had been ordered and their components built, but not erected earlier.

All entered Southern Railway stock in 1923 and had 1000 added to their numbers.

2 were withdrawn during the Second World War, but the remaining 64 entered British Railways stock in 1948. BR added 30000 to their numbers.

One SECR No. 263 (SR 1263, BR 31263) survives where is has been steamed on the Bluebell Railway in Sussex.
