Sebastien Grainger

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sebastien Grainger (born 1979 in Mississauga), is a Canadian musician.

He is most well-known to the public for having been the singer and drummer of the defunct rock duo Death From Above 1979, together with Jesse F. Keeler who played bass. The "1979" tacked at the end of the band's name originates from Grainger's birth year.

Grainger also played drums for Keeler's Femme Fatale project, on the Fire Baptism EP. He is also involved in other musical projects, such as Girl On Girl, the alias under which he remixed his own song 'Black History Month' for the Death From Above 1979 remix album Romance Bloody Romance.

He has finished work on a split-record with Jewish Legend and is currently working on a solo album.
