Sebastian Elmaloglou

Sebastian Elmaloglou (born September 29, 1989) is an Australian actor who is best known for portraying the role of Max Sutherland on the long-running Australian soap opera Home and Away from 2002 to 2004. Sebastian has worked with the Sydney Threater company in 4 productions and the australian opera. Interestingly, his brothers, Peter & Dominic Elmaloglou, have appeared on Home and Away (Dominic played Sebastian Harrison in 1996). And his sister, Rebekah Elmaloglou, is well-known for portraying the role of Sophie Simpson from 1990-1993.

Sebastian Trained at the Lynda Keane Studos where he studied acting, singing and dancing. He has appeared in numerous roles in various programmes such as Fallen Angels ("Baby It's You" (1997)) and Home and Away. He has also worked on television ads and stage productions.

  • He lives in the Eastern Suburbs and attends Vaucluse High School part of Rose Bay Secondary College.
  • His mother is a cousin of Dame Judi Dench
  • He is good friends with Tobi Atkins from Home and Away.
  • Elmaloglou is of Greek (father) and English (mother) descent
  • His father is a cellist and his mother a kindergarten teacher.
  • He spends his time down at bondi
  • He is the younger brother of Peter, Rebekah and Dominic Elmaloglou who have all been on "Home and Away" (1988)
  • He use to have to leave his school everyday to shoot episodes of the series.
