[edit] *Clicks*
Hey! Thanks for the message... it was two clicks, actually, since your sig link took me to your userpage :-P
I also wanted to say hello, and thanks, and was just wondering how things are going, and... I'm rambling! I'll stop. Anyways, thanks again :-) — Editor at Large(speak) 01:33, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hee hee, I guess it is two clicks away! Ahh!!! There my catchphrase is faulty, well cheers and I am doing fine and things have been good here.</ranting> Keep up the great work. </compliment> — — Seadog 01:48, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] jacobs
hi, my edits to the Bruce Jacobs page were true!!!!!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.170.95.159 (talk) 03:38, 10 December 2006 (UTC).
- Small, edits were in fact vandalism which includes blanking and other nonsense. — Seadog 13:45, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vandalism?
All I did was change a well-known quote on the mythbusters page to another well-known quote. I do not believe this constitutes vandalism. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.85.114.22 (talk) 03:55, 10 December 2006 (UTC).
- Done, This has been sorted out between us, resulting in the fact that his recent contribs were vandalism and he has been redirected to the Mythbusters discussion page for more info. — Seadog 13:44, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
Just a few sections above your question (on my talk page) you can see the complaint, and the reason. I still think I'll add it somewhere, perhaps a subpage for jokes. | AndonicO Talk | Sign Here 14:59, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, I think it was for the best since it is kind of distracting and for newcomers they will be very, very confused. — Seadog 15:18, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to the AMA!
Hello Seadog.M.S, I see that you have decided to join the AMA. I'll be the first to say welcome! We're always in need of more advocates, especially since were backlogged most of the time. Just a few pointers for what we do. We communicate by putting a template on our talk page. The template is {{AMA alerts}}. The AMA also has it's own IRC channel, which reports new cases and alerts to us. It can also be used as a place to ask for advice on an issue. If you'd like to jump right into a case, you are free to check out AMA Requests for Assistance, which is our new request for advocacy system. The instructions for how the technical part works is on it's talk page. You can also use the AMA userboxes that appear under here. If you have anymore questions about the organization, just ping any advocates talk page, including our coordinator Steve Caruso, or deputy coordinator Wikiwoohoo. Again, welcome to the AMA! Also, we are currently having our December Meeting. Feel free to check it out! -Royalguard11(Talk·Desk·Review Me!) 20:02, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Many thanks
I must say I'm flattered to have such strong, positive responses on my editor review, and the fact that you said you would be willing to nominate me is quite humbling. (Did I read that right?) Anyway, it's always invigorating to read something like this, so I wanted to let you know as well that I think you've been doing a simply splendid job, even though we've never actually spoken to each other before now. I will let you know when I'm ready to run in case you're still interested in a nom. Thanks again, Dar-Ape 21:23, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
- You are very, very welcome — all my reviews are honest and I would be honored to nominate you as I feel that you would be a great admin. And please let me know if you want me to nominate you, I will be delighted! Cheers and keep up the great work. — Seadog 21:26, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] regarding your change to the masters school entry
I swear to god that what I wrote is true I went there when it happened. Can you please change it back.
- , I have never reverted any of "your" edits to that article, I did revert vandalism after your edits. Basically the version you see now is "your" version unless I am not seeing this clearly or someone else removed but "I" didn't remove any of your edits. — Seadog 21:51, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re:Status
As far as I know, I think that's allowed. Why wouldn't it be allowed? Nishkid64 01:51, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- Nah it's a perfectly legitimate question. I think you can have any type of subpage under your user and user talk pages. I've never seen anything written about this, but I'm just assuming. Nishkid64 01:56, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- That's a mighty fine status changer, Seadog... Nice job. Katalaveno 02:52, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you, I am honored that you like it. — Seadog 02:53, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
"This Advocate is: busy (e)" How are you busy, copy-pasting on your user page? Pl. take it lightly. I saw your user-page after long. It's very different and attractive. By the way, where is HeBhagawanji? Got married or what? swadhyayee 09:45, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] I think.
"Hello and welcome to my userpage, I am — Seadog but please feel free to call me by my name". I think, you should consider to use some distinguishing colour for the link "my name". In fact, I thought that you forgot to put "Arjun" and I tried to edit your page. While trying to edit, I came to know that "my name" was a link to "Arjun". I do not know how to colour it, so wish that you consider to have different colour for the link.
I think, time has come to archive talk page of Hinduism. I am just checking and give my suggestion what portion should be archived. I have checked and I think, it should be ok to archive till 16 (Anti-Hindu). What do you think? Apologies to load with this duty.
I wish that you reply on my page. I think, I would get alert only then. Am I right? swadhyayee 09:56, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Seems you are online?
Are you online? Your "I'm bold as love: Just ask the Axis". The two lines overlap each other. I think, you should increase free line space or make the fonts size small. swadhyayee 10:06, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Fish Portal
Hi, User:Melanochromis has done a great job getting the Fish Portal up an running. At this point, more sets of eyes can help make it even better. If you can offer some tips on the portal talk page about how to improve Fish up to "featured" quality, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Rfrisbietalk 13:36, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Seems you are online.
Seems you are online. Your friend also gave you an idea to archive (sorry no smilies here). The pain I took to modify someone's message on talk page of Hinduism, I am sure, I could have archived 20 times but now I am too tired and have to go out on orders of boss of this house. Just archive talk page of Hinduism if possible. Thanks. swadhyayee 15:00, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] I think, it was over-archiving.
I think, it was over-archiving. So I have just copy pasted the recent discussion which I doubt has lost original formatting. The same text remains still archived. So it is duplication. If, you can see and improve, it would be nice of you. swadhyayee 17:16, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thank you
Thank you for your support in my recent RfA, which was successful. I will do my best to wield the broom wisely! | Mr. Darcy talk 18:45, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thank you for voting
Thank you for voting in my RfA which at 51/20/6 unfortunately did not achieve consensus. In closing the nomination, Essjay remarked that it was one of the better discussed RfAs seen recently and I would like to thank you and all others who chose to vote for making it as such. It was extremely humbling to see the large number of support votes, and the number of oppose votes and comments will help me to become stronger. I hope to run again for adminship soon. Thank you all once more. Wikiwoohoo 19:24, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] User pages
How exactly are you putting feathers, notes and strange animals on the screen in places so that wherever i scroll, they follow? Simply south 19:36, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry if you find them annoying! But basically all you do is type <div style="position: fixed; left:5px; bottom:5px; display:block; height:82px; width:65px;"> {{Click | | image = Exquisite-gimp2 0.png | link = WP:CVU | height = 82px | width = 65px }}, That is how you get the floating dog. [edit] Re: Online?
I'm on most of the time, though usually not editing- more like reading through a bunch of articles at random. I will have to remember to change it, though... Thanks for pointing that out to me. —¡Randfan! 00:52, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- Too bad it won't turn off (say I'm offline).... —¡Randfan! 01:05, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah I wish that mine would change to what it actually is rather than having to update it. — Seadog 01:10, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Hey, it's totally up to you! And I don't mind being your user to bug, at all :) I'm outta here now, sorry about the short reply, but I want to send you an e-mail later on, so look out for that, eh? Cheers, riana_dzasta 02:35, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Yes it does look good.
Yes the "my name" does look good in red colour but try navy blue and see how it looks? Probably did you earlier use navy blue only? Regarding busy, I was just making fun that you changed your user page, should be by copy pasting, so I asked you whether you are busy copy pasting? I have not seen talk page of Hinduism yet. swadhyayee 06:40, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- Try not using images when they are not required; it puts an unnecessary load on the Commons Image server – [1]. Just my two cents. — Nearly Headless Nick {L} 14:07, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] re: Ars Scriptor
Yes, I knew of Ars Scriptor's retirement. He left for personal reasons. I intend to carry on with he Guitarists Project. Hope you can continue your participation. Cheers and take care! Anger22 (Talk 2 22) 19:22, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- Oh darn, his presence will be deeply missed, and of course I will continue my participation. Cheers and take care yourself! — Seadog 19:25, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks! I am tapering back my own "Wiki-involvement" but will try to keep up with the project as best as I can. Cheers! Anger22 (Talk 2 22) 19:30, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- I will chip in on the Strat list when I can. I am flip flopping back and forth on the List of Gibson players. I am short on resources(curse my local small town book store) I dig a few refs up here and there. Maybe we can help each other on both of these lists? As for the Tele list I can't take any credit for that. My role was a simple ref her and there and, of course, making sure the "rules" were maintained. It was Rohirok who built that list up to what is is now. And it was Ars Scriptor(with some pitch-in help from a few others) who put it over he top and got it featured. I am sure we can get "our" 2 lists up to the same caliber. Christmas season is a hard time of the year to find "Wiki-focus". Plus I am travelling across the country and back in January. Wiki will just have to be patient :). Cheers! Anger22 (Talk 2 22) 19:42, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- Wow have fun, yes I will try to pitch in there also, It would be so awesome to have both of those featured! I only have 2 books on the subject. Crazy huh...well I hope we can get these up to the ultimate point a list can go. Cheers and I will add the Gibson list to my to do list. — Seadog 19:46, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- Nice pic! You're right about nn additions. It's pretty hard to filter on the Gibson list as it includes any/all Gibson models. I some point I may break the Les Paul players out into their own list since they will be the bulk of the Gibson Players list. For now though I just want to establish a standard format and find decent refs(preferably books). I doubt I will ever get it up to the same style as the Tele list where each entry has a nice little quote about how their Tele use is "notable". Doing that to the Strat list shouldn't be too hard. But finding the time is :). Tony Bacon has several good books about specific guitar models. Amy other authors you can think of with similar "encyclopedia like" books? The more the better. Anger22 (Talk 2 22) 20:42, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, yeah I am going to see if I can find any nice books on the subject, See you around. Cheers! — Seadog 21:09, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Vandalism Box
Okay. That part was okay to remove, the other part was just friendly vandalism :P ♥ Fredil 21:39, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tattvas
Namaskar Seadog.
I was just looking over, and starting alphabetically, I want to do Akasha, one of the mahabhutha tattvas. I would like to seperate it from western notions of elements, and establish a basic layouts for each of the 25 or 36 tattvas. There are 25 tattvas in samkhya and 36 tattvas in shaivism, with the saiva tattvas being a superset of the samkhya tattvas, so I would like all 25 to be both have a samkhya and shaivite template, and the 9 extra shaiva ones, to just have the shaivite template.
I really have no idea how to do this in wikipedia, but from the amazing user pages i've seen whenever i'd click on your name, i can tell you have some wiki markup skill. Here's what I'd like, and I hope you can help me with this: a box on the right, with the categories of the tattvas, and which are included only in shaivism and which are in both samkhya and shaivism. There are 5 categories of tattvas in samkhya and 7 in shaivism. All of the categories of the tattvas have 5 tattvas, except for the sixth shaivite category which has 6. Also, there is technically a sort of "half-tattva" that exists in between the 6th and 7th shaivite categories, called śunya (void). I feel this should also be included, but very obviously distinguished as being by itself and in between the 6th and 7th.
The categories are, Pañca Mahābhūtas, Pañca Tanmātras, Pañca Karmendriyas, Pañca Jñānendriyas, Pañca Antaḥkaraṇas, then the Shaivite only ones are, Ṣaṭ Kañcukas, ((śunya)), and Śuddha Tattvas. If you can show me how to make something like this; I would greatly appreciate it!

Namaskar Seadog.
That talents that you've displayed with your user pages that lead me to ask for your help on this project, also lead me to put faith in your aesthetic choices for the color scheme and fonts, etc. I have no idea if these are articles yet or if they're going to be spelled this way but here is the full list of thirty six tattvas:
- Pañca Mahābhūtas : pṛthvi, jala, tejas, vāyu, ākāśa
- Pañca Tanmātras : gandha, rasa, rūpa, sparśa, śabda
- Pañca Karmendriyas : upastha, pāyu, pāda, pāṇi, vāk
- Pañca Jñānendriyas : ghrāṇa, rasanā, cakṣu, tvak, śrotra
- Antaḥkaraṇas : manas, buddiḥ, ahaṃkara, prakṛti, puruṣa
In Śaivism, we also have,
- Ṣaṭ Kañcukas : niyati, kāla, rāga, vidyā, kalā, māyā
- śunya, of course, by itself.
- Śuddha Tattvas : śuddha vidyā, īśvara, sadāśiva, śakti, śiva
Thank you so much, once again.
