Seaton Delaval

Seaton Delaval is a village in the Blyth Valley district of Northumberland, England, with a population of about 7,000. It is the site of Seaton Delaval Hall. The folk song "Blackleg Miner" mentions the village, saying, "Oh Delaval is a terrible place/ They rub wet clay in the blackleg's face."
