Seasons in Argentine football

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The following is a list of articles that lead to final each season in Argentine football. Each article provides the final league tables for that season, which since 1992 are divided in Apertura (July-December) and Clausura (January-June), at the end of which the relegations are decided according to the average points of the last 3 seasons. Also included are the 4 top goalscorers of each championship, and the final relegation average and promotion results. The last 2 teams go directly to second division, whereas the following 2 worst teams play the "promotion" against the 3rd and 4th of the second division for a place in first division (see Relegation and Promotion for details).

The articles also have details on the matches of the Argentina national team, both official and friendly ones.
