Searching For A Former Clarity is Against Me!'s third full length album, and the follow-up to the controversial 'As The Eternal Cowboy', an album whose sound was a marked departure from the band's former style. In the new album, the style shifts again, with a more mainstream sound, but the record still contains hints of their folk punk roots in songs such as "How Low" and "Joy." On November 11, 2005 the music video for "Don't Lose Touch" was aired on MTV, a first for the band, and a startling surprise for many fans.
