Searching for Paradise

Searching for Paradise is the story of Gilda Mattei, a girl overcome with grief over the death of her father. In trying to cope with her depression and uncertainty about her purpose in life, she embarks on a journey in which she endeavors to meet her favorite actor with whom she has developed an obsession, Michael DeSantis. The film was produced in 2002 through the direction and writing of Myra Paci.

Searching for Paradise was nominated for The Golden Starfish Award and won The Cinematography Award at The Hamptons International Film Festival. Also, Susan May Pratt won an award for best actress for the film at the Milan International Film Festival.
