Career Highlights

Sean Rusling (born October 6, 1986) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League.

A tall forward from West Adelaide, Rusling was drafted by the Magpies in the 2004 National Draft in the second round. Making his debut half-way through his first season, 2005, he showed signs of his extraordinary pace and jump which proved problems to his opponents inside the forward 50. A shoulder injury would end his season, requiring surgery, to then again injure the same shoulder in a pre-season practice match. The delayed start to his 2006 season caused him to comeback in the VFL, where he would provide good form. He made a return in Round 14, but would miss the next week with a leg injury. He played the last four games of the season and put his name out to the football public playing his exiting brand of football with quick pace out of the goalsquare and a great mark and kick. He kicked 3 goals in a half of footy against Port Adelaide.
