Sea Gypsies

The term Sea Gypsies can refer to any of several groups in southeast Asia:
- The Bajau coastal dwellers of Indonesia, eastern Malaysia and the Philippines, sometimes including the people who speak Makassar and Bugis
- The Moken or Selung who are a semi-nomadic boat people of southern Burma and Thailand
- The Orang Laut who are seafarers of Malaysia and Indonesia
- The Urak Lawoi coastal dwellers of Thailand
