Scugog is a township in in the Regional Municipality of Durham, south-central Ontario, Canada.

The current Township of Scugog was created in 1974 through the amalgamation of the Village of Port Perry and the Townships of Cartwright, Reach and the original Township of Scugog. Port Perry is the chief commercial and administrative centre of the municipality.

According to the 2001 Statistics Canada Census:

  • Dwellings: 7,473
  • Area (km²): 474.62
  • Density (persons per km²): 42.5
