Scrolling TrackPad
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Scrolling TrackPad is the name of Apple Computer's new patent-pending trackpads, used in their MacBook and MacBook Pro laptop computers. They were previously used in the PowerBook and iBook lines, prior to Apple's switch to Intel processors. It lets users scroll through large documents by touching the pad with two fingers instead of one.
Scrolling through web pages or large documents on a trackpad can challenge even the most nimble fingers. The feature allows the user to simply drags two fingers over the trackpad to scroll vertically and horizontally or pan around any active window. It can be adjusted to suit users needs via System Preferences.
