Scranton Tribune

The Scranton Tribune was the only morning newspaper published in Scranton, Pennsylvania in the 1990's-Summer 2005. The paper was owned by Times Shamrock Communications, a privately held company. It was purchased by its current owners in 1990. The Tribune, as it was branded, merged with its afternoon sister paper, that carried the same news in a condenced format, The Scranton Times, in June 2005. This new paper is known as The Times-Tribune.
