Scottish Second Division 2006-07

The 2006-07 season will be the twelfth season of the Scottish Second Division in its current format of ten teams.

The league champions will be promoted. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the Second Division and 9th in the First Division will play a promotion-relegation playoff to determine who will be promoted or relegated.

The bottom-placed team will be relegated to the Third Division. The 9th-placed side in the division goes into a relegation playoff with 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the Third Division to determine who will be promoted or relegated.
