The Scottish Left Review is a bi-monthly publication of the political-left in Scotland. Established in 2000 by various figures of the left including Jimmy Reid, Roseanna Cunningham and John McAllion it collects articles on a number of issues written by various individuals.
More often than not the writers are members of either the Labour Party, the Scottish National Party or the Scottish Socialist Party. However a number of articles by members of no party, and the Liberal Democrats and the Greens have appeared in the publication as well.
The review describes itself as a forum for all figures on the left in Scotland in all parties or none.
Its editorial committee consists of various figures such as the aforementioned Reid, Cunningham and McAllion, as well as the human rights lawyer Aamer Anwar and the academic Tom Nairn.
