Scott Young (born July 15, 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah) is an National Football League offensive lineman for the Philadelphia Eagles. He played college football at Brigham Young University. Before attending BYU, he was an All-American defensive tackle at Dixie College in St. George UT. Nearly broke the NFL Combine record by bench-pressing 235 lbs. 43 consecutive times. The record is 46 reps.

Young attended Hillcrest High School (Midvale) in Midvale,Utah and was a three-year letterman in football. He is the son of a police officer and an elementary school teacher.
