Scott Westcott

Scott Westcott (born September 25, 1975) is an Australian runner and school teacher, who is currently Australia's fastest half-marathon runner. Born near Parkes, New South Wales, Westcott was an avid runner as a teenager, winning the 5000m state championships. Studying teaching in Armidale, Westcott took a job as a science teacher at Maitland Christian School in 1998. Westcott came 4th in the 2006 Commonwealth Games men's marathon with a time of 2:16:32.
