Scott Steve McInnis (born May 9, 1953), American politician, was a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from 1993 to 2005, representing the 3rd District of Colorado.

McInnis was born in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, was educated at Mesa College in Grand Junction, Colorado, Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado and St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. He was a police officer, a hospital director, and lawyer before entering politics. McInnis member of the Colorado House of Representatives from 1983 to 1993. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 1992. McInnis did not run for reelection to the House in 2004 and considered, but ultimately rejected the idea of entering the 2006 race for Governor of Colorado.
