Scopello is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Vercelli in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 km northeast of Turin and about 60 km northwest of Vercelli. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 425 and an area of 18.6 km2.[1]
The municipality of Scopello contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Chioso.
Scopello borders the following municipalities: Boccioleto, Campertogno, Caprile, Crevacuore, Guardabosone, Pettinengo, Pila, Piode, Scopa, Trivero, and Valle San Nicolao.
