Scissor-switch technology (keyboard terminology)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Scissor-switch technology is a type of computer keyboard, mainly used in laptops. Scissor-switch technology does not use a rubber-plunger assembly like most other keyboards. Scissor-switch keyboards are normally responsive and crisp. Though not exactly quiet, these keyboards are usually on the quiet side. Many users prefer these over normal PC keyboards because of the advantages of this technology.
