[edit] Test format
The test is two hours long and consists of sixty multiple choice problems. Use of a simple scientific calculator and scrath work are permitted on the test. There are twenty questions each of biology, chemistry, and physics.
[edit] Scoring
Each problem answered correctly gives you six points. Each problem answered incorrectly takes away two points. Unanswered problems do not affect your score, and skipping is permitted. Scores can range from -120 to 360. Generally, at district, regional and state meets, students are ranked according to their overall score in addition to being ranked based on how well they perform on the three individual disciplines of the test (biology, chemistry, and physics).
