The most recent Auditor states the Mission of Petaluma, a Mission in Upland (southern California), a Mission in Santa Monica, a Mission in Berkeley, and one in Chinatown, San Francsico (by a chinese speaking person) have recently been established. Missions are designed to feed into larger Churches of Scientology and have their own organization within the Church to which they are required to be responsible, report to, and so on.
