[edit] Image:General Lee jump.jpg
You have not given a source for this image, not have you stated what its copyright status is. Under Wikipedia policy images without copyright information can be deleted after 7 days. To avoid this please add the information to the image description page, See Wikipedia:Image tagging or leave a message on my talk page if you need help. Thryduulf 00:18, 24 September 2005 (UTC)
- Same goes for Image:Mac jeep.jpg, if you have uploaded any more files without proper tagging I suggest you check on those too. --Sherool 20:50, 27 September 2005 (UTC)
Please note that I am in the process of obtaining those permissions, and trying to figure out the best ways to do it. I've never done this before, and I suppose I should have read more carefully before uploading. Thanks, ClintFord 15:30, 29 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Clint
Clint, Tell us about youself or something, on your user pageClintFord . I'm interested. Thanks, Scott 04:09, 1 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging Image:VJM.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:VJM.jpg. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag, so its copyright status is therefore unclear. Please add a tag to let us know its copyright status. (If you created/took the picture then you can use {{gfdl}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{fairuse}}.) See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have tagged them, too. Note that any unsourced and untagged imaged will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks so much. --Michael 08:58, 1 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image:VJMc.jpg has been listed for deletion
An image or media file you uploaded, Image:VJMc.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. |

[edit] NOTICE TO ALL IN REGARDS TO IMAGES: LACK OF COPYRIGHTING INFO OR SOURCING
Everyone, Please note that I am in the process of posting the proper copyright info and the sources of where I got said photos on each image in question. Upon my discovery of the Wikipedia, I-- in my overzealousness-- blindly began posting dozens of images and I completely ignored the verbiage asking for the images' info. Now, thanks to your requests, I am going back and posting the correct copyright information and listing my sources. If I have missed any, please post them here, and it will be remedied. Thanks,
ClintFord 13:56, 3 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Copyright Vio's
I did the same in the past... It takes time to learn and understand, but now I know and I understand. Do continue to contribute! Thanks Scott 14:21, 3 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Comments in Edit History pages
<from User_talk:Lochaber>
- Hi Lochaber,
- Can you tell me how I can put comments by my edits on the "history" pages (as I've seen you do?)
- Please post the answer on my talk page, if you would be so kind.
- Thanks!
- ClintFord 21:09, 4 October 2005 (UTC)
No problem ClintFord,
At the bottom of the editing box you will see box called "Edit summary", above the buttons for Save page / Show Preview &c., you just fill in what you have done in there. If you click on Edit summary you'll find more info, Edit summary legend is also useful. Hope that helps! -- Lochaber 14:58, 5 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Ben Jones
I would throw those pics over to the newly created Cooter, but they would not fit, So until the article text emerges or evolves I say keep them there for now? You opinion. Is this fine? Scott 14:29, 7 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Dukes of Hazzard Reverts
(copied from tvaughn05's talk page) Just curious, why are you reverting my "Dukes of Hazzard" edits?
ClintFord 05:30, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
- I am reverting your edits, because you are changing the picture source to a non-existant picture. If you are trying to do something, please explain it on the talk page, so it doesn't get reverted again. Thank you :-).

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Gbr.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Gbr.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.

[edit] Image Tagging for Image:RRP2.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:RRP2.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Anna Leonowens
Your edit history indicates you have briefly worked on the article on Anna Leonowens. Recently this version of the article has been contested by User:J M Rice who calls it "POV" and reduces the article to a stub version by removing most content. Could you contribute your own opinion on the discussion? Up till now we seem to be reverting back and forth undproductively. User:Dimadick

[edit] Improper tagging of Image:Sharbat Gula After 17.jpg
That image is certainly not a "publicity photo", and it does not fit the description in the copyright tag that you supplied. I've noted as much on the image's talk page. If a valid case for use of this copyrighted image cannot be made, it must be deleted. The image tag clearly states:
- This tag should only be used for images of a person, product, or event that is known to have come from a press kit or similar source, for the purpose of reuse by the media.
It came from the National Geographic Magazine, if my memory serves, not a press kit, nor for the purpose of reuse. --Kbh3rdtalk 04:34, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your name change
Hey Schmendrick, you appear to have moved your user pages and changed your signature to Schmendrick without actually changing your username in the database. Your contributions are still attributed to ClintFord in the page histories, and you must still log in as ClintFord. What is worse, is that since there is no real account called "Schmendrick", someone else can come along at any time and create it, and it would be theirs and you would lose all rights to the name. You need to go over to changing user names as soon as possible and file a formal request to change your account name. This will change your log in name and re-attribute all your edits in the database. Cheers. Thatcher131 (talk) 11:20, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, Thatcher. I didn't know how to officially do it! It's done now. --Schmendrick 15:10, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- It will probably take a day or two to get processed. Once its done and you're logging in as Schmendrick ClintFord will at that point no longer exist and be open to anyone again. You'll probably want to re-create it so you can maintain the redirect and so no one can impersonate you. Thatcher131 (talk) 15:25, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Chad Vader
The article was tagged for deletion by another editor as a (db-bio) before deletion. It did not seem to meet guidelines for Wikipedia:Notability. If you disagree with it's deletion you might consider WP:DRV. Thanks. --Dakota 17:31, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
- We cannot list every show that has aired on Channel 101, and there is nothing noteworthy about Chad Vader. --InShaneee 21:33, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
-
- Unless you have something more than their say-so to back up that claim, yes. --InShaneee 22:03, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
-
-
- You've still failed to meet notability guidelines insofar as that the article was not ABOUT Chad Vader, it merely mentioned it. --InShaneee 18:42, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Rip2.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Rip2.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Chowbok ☠ 00:27, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Slick.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Slick.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.
Thank you. --Chowbok ☠ 16:03, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:VJM.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:VJM.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Chowbok ☠ 05:50, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tom Fool
Hello,
Thank you for your stub submission. You may wish to note that it is preferable to use a stub template from Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types instead of using simply {{stub}}, if you can.
Thanks! P.S., I also marked your pages as "unverified", as it may not be factually based, and does not cite sources. --Vox Causa 01:12, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
