Schwieberdingen is a town of about 10,700 inhabitants located in Southwest Germany. The city founded in 1304 is about 5 km away from Ludwigsburg and 10 km away from Stuttgart, the capital of Baden-Württemberg. Schwieberdingen is known today as a socialist labour union stronghold in this region. The city's football club is the TSV Schwieberdingen. It plays in the Verbandsliga Württemberg.
