Schramberg

Schramberg is a town in the district of Rottweil, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated in the eastern Black Forest, 18 km northwest of Rottweil. Some internationally recognised firms which started off in the 19th century and still exist have their headquarters in Schramberg. These include the precision springs and plastics company HAAS[1], the watch company Junghans etc. The River Schiltach flows through the town, and is famous as the course over which tub-rafting takes place during the festival season in March. Nearby towns are Sulgen, Schiltach, St Georgen and Tennenbron.

The town is twinned with Lachen, Switzerland.
