Schoonenberg Stadion

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Schoonenberg Stadion is the home ground of the Dutch first-division football team Stormvogels Telstar. It is located in Velsen-Zuid, approximately 15 miles west of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. It was built in 1936, with renovations in 1999, including the replacement of the east stand, which has been converted to an all-seater stand.

Today, the stadium is comprised of two all-seater stands, with the north and south stands now unused since they no longer conform to the modern safety standards of today's football. The total capacity is 3,250 with 250 seats allocated to the visiting team.
