School Library Journal

School Library Journal is a monthly publication with articles and reviews for school and public librarians who work with young people. Founded in 1954 as Junior Libraries after breaking off from Library Journal, as of 2006 School Library Journal has an audience of 38,000 subscribers and over 100,000 readers.

Early in its history, the periodical published nine issues annually; it now publishes one issue per month as well as a supplement, Curriculum Connections, twice per year.
