IMDb profile |
Schöner Gigolo, armer Gigolo, also known as Just a Gigolo, is a 1979 film starring David Bowie, Sydne Rome, David Hemmings, Marlene Dietrich and Kim Novak.
As well as appearing in the film, Marlene Dietrich sang the title song.
The film was Marlene Dietrich's last film role, and David Bowie's first, although it was released after The Man Who Fell to Earth, because much of the original footage was destroyed by fire. The director took three years to construct the film out of the remaining footage. The film is set in Berlin during the 1920s.
