This category is for educational institutions located within Canada. For K-12 schools, see grade groupings for how schools tend to be classified based on what grades they teach. The term "middle school" is the same as "junior high". The term "senior high school" or just "high school" generally means "secondary school". The exact definitions of the terms vary, so categorization is firstly based on how the school themselves elect to do so, and secondly on what the province does (some provinces aren't consistent).
