[edit] Potenza
GRRRR! Why don't you check things before revert edits for which I spent 2 hours of fatigue? The situation is: Potenza (PZ) now redirects to Potenza article, which has been renewed with a new infobox and relevant info I have created a Potenza (disambiguation) page for other cities named Potenza. Attilios.

[edit] thanks for the support
Hi Sceptre- thanks a lot for your support on my recent, (barely) successful rfa. Please feel free to leave me any comments or criticisms on my talk page! --He:ah? 22:56, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Abdullah Öcalan
Hi, could you tell me why you reverted my edit on Abdullah Öcalan. Btw its me,i forgot to sign in. (Metb82 10:28, 8 April 2006 (UTC))
[edit] Drainage Basin
Thanks for moving the page, but I am confused about the capital "B" in basin. Cheers, Daniel Collins 13:29, 8 April 2006 (UTC).
- This has been fixed for the main article (thanks!), but the capital B still seems to be a problem with Talk:Drainage Basin. -- Avenue 13:53, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
Seems the Watershed disambiguation page now has 600+ pages linking to it - not a good situation. The responsibility for fixing all those usually falls on the person who made the page rename/move. Enjoy! Vsmith 14:04, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for all the hours of work you spent sorting this out. -- Avenue 10:56, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you - that's a huge amount of work you've done. CarolGray 17:24, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Saw III
Before you carelessly revert back 81.99.182.121's edits again, let me tell you that his work is vandalism and false information. Thank you.--CyberGhostface 15:45, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-03-25 Template:Infobox shopping center
Hi. Your mediation had not worked a little. User:Madchester does not accept your recommendation. And furthermore, he reverted my edit at Galleria Ataköy, which had nothing to do with his infobox, in away that the valuable content is destroyed. It is nothing else than vandalism. Can you do something or I have to apply elsewhere?. Thanks. CeeGee 07:39, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
Hi. See what is told in my User talk: ===April 9 disruption warning=== Please use the existing infobox template for shopping centers, instead of using your own inline box. This is your second warning for creating a personalized template to go against the norm. Disrupting Wikipedia to make a point is not tolerated and can warrant a block per WP: Blocking policy - Disrpution. Thanks. --Madchester 08:49, 9 April 2006 (UTC) Is it really so? Please advise. Thanks.CeeGee 17:27, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
- There's a fine line between disruption and just using a template. Have you tried to get consensus for the boxes? Sceptre (Talk) 10:00, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
If you have time to follow the related talk pages you will realize that. However, not after I applied for mediation. Because, you recommended that my infobox is much more comprehensive. I expected that you would advise him your recommendation. If you would have asked me to do that I could try it at least once. What I did was to avoid using his insufficient infobox, which after his reverting my articles did not even show the basic information. So, I inserted an inline infobox, which was promptly reverted by him. Furthermore, he threatened me for blocking. Question: Isn't it allowed to use any inline infobox? Is everyone obliged to use infoboxes existing, even they are not appropriate for some cases? Has an administrator the license to revert everything he doesn't like? Wanted just to know. Please check also his talk page fully. Maybe you can discover some useful info. Kindly give me advise what I should do now in this case. Thanks for all. CeeGee 17:23, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
Hi again and again. I notice that you are not interested any more in my case. You do not take even time to reply to my questions. In this case nothing remains to me to go further. However, I will be waiting one more day. Bye. CeeGee 20:15, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Doubly closed AfD's
Hi Sceptre, you recently closed two AfD's that I had already closed: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Naughty chair and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rake and trail. Or at least I think I closed them properly already. Did I do anything wrong (quite possibly, my first week as an admin) or are you using some magic AfD closer scripts and didn't check that these AfD's were closed already? Kusma (討論) 16:39, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Selective deletion

[edit] Relisting
Hey Sceptre. When you relist an AFD subpage for further discussion, please could you ensure that you remove the AFD subpage from the listings for its original date? See Wikipedia:Deletion process for information on how to relist an article. An example of the consequence of not doing this is an AFD that was still listed in April 3 being closed (by me) that was relisted (by you), yesterday (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Haterhouse). Did you use a script to relist the AFD? Proto||type 10:34, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. I actually asked on IRC last night what I should do with them. Will do from now on. Yes, I used a script Sceptre (Talk) 10:35, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] AfD
Hi, I am just curious to know what you considered as the final tally in Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Rick_Eyre . There were four keeps ( myself, Monicasdude, Kukini and Gurubrahma), seven deletes by regular editors (RGTraynor, Brian Crawford, Terence Ong, JIP, Isotope, Eusebeus, Khoikhoi), one weak delete (Sandstein) and five deletes by first time voters and ips. Did you consider them all ? Tintin (talk) 11:27, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you. I wouldn't have bothered about the deletion had it been nominated by an editor of good standing because IMO, as mentioned in the Afd, it is a borderline case. This page originated as an attack page under the name Wick Eyre, myself and Gurubrahma cleaned it up (the original discussion here). I wouldn't be surprised if the guys who nominated it for deletion are the same people who created the mock page. Tintin (talk) 11:53, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
- No complaints this time. Tintin (talk) 02:55, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of people who have had plastic surgery
OK, now you've deleted the above article as an uncontested prod deletion, despite the article having the prod tag removed hours before. I've restored the article, which is currently at AFD. Could you make sure to check the articles you delete before actually deleting them, please? Did you use the same script as before - it may be that the script is at fault. [edit] Deletion of Florencetime
This article had been a subsection of the Hexadecimal time article. I moved it out to its own article as it seemed to have more to do with the particular system than the concept of hexadecimal time. The same could be said, for that matter, of much of the remaining article, which centers mainly on the "Intuitor" system. If this were similarly removed to its own article, there would be very little left under "hexadecimal time", but perhaps there's just not that much to be said about the concept per se.
In any case, I created Florencetime in order to re-organize an existing article, not in an attempt to inject new material. I would think that if the Florencetime material were acceptable under "hexadecimal time", it would also be acceptable on its own. -Dmh 16:50, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Page move request
Could you move The Return of Chef (South Park) back to its original location? I saw that you had moved back some of the other SP articles back to their original locations. [edit] Reverts to my edits
Hi. I noticed that you reverted some of my edits, in a highly disputed topic that I participate in. Suprisingly you reverted my changes to the changes the other party's version (which is highly nationalistic and anti-wikipedian). I was wondering on what grounds did you like their version more. I thought an administrator is supposed to be neutral, not revert one side's changes, and favor the other side. Thank you, Ilir pz 21:50, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
- Uh-oh. You reverted to The Wrong Version, didn't you? :) Proto||type 22:21, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism by 71.195.151.70
A vandal you had blocked is at it again, 71.195.151.70 is placing nonsense and abusive comments on the Mystic Force Rangers article. Any help would be appreciated. Coronis 21:01, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] IM.
If you'd like one more Wikipedian to IM, you can find my IM info on my userpage. If you'd prefer not (considering your last edit to your userpage removing said info), then I'll respect that. Just thought I'd offer instead of adding you myself, it's only polite. — nathanrdotcom (T • C • W) 04:47, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks!
Thank you for unblocking me however your comment on my talk page says that my IP has been blocked. If you could just delete all references to blocking (including this message to you) and just delete my talk page back to this version that would be most appreciated. I would rather not have the reputation of my account falsely tarnished with talk about being blocked. Thanks! EastCoastGhost 12:56, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Protection Question
Hi, Sceptre!
I had a question about protection. The page Bernie Sanders, has been temporarily blocked by Heah, a four day old admin. The block has affected Straightinfo, who signed up specifically to edit that article, but not a vandal. A template on Heah's talk page says he will not be around---he is writing a thesis :-( . I was wondering if a dif. admin could undo this, and if they could, if I (or Straightinfo) should request unprotection.
Thanx!

[edit] Thanks
Thanks for supporting me in my RfA. I really didn't think people appreciate my work here that much, but it's nice to see you do: my Request was closed with 66 supports and 4 opposes. I'll do my best not to turn your confidence down. If in any point in the future you get the feeling I'm doing something wrong, do not hesitate to drop me a line. --Dijxtra 12:00, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thank you
Thank you for protecting our page Progressive Independent and thank you for your fairness in re-adding my comment to Democratic Underground but being new at Wikipedia, I must have messed up with my last entry because the comment I added isn't showing up.
If you have suggestions about toning down the last sentence I'd be happy to do it but every single word of this comment can be documented.
I've asked other members of Progressive Independent to help with editing our own page and make it meet the "notable" standards certain people attacking us are demanding. Thanks for your help. Posting to Wikipedia is confusing at first and we hope to master the art soon.
Thank you Spectre.
Here is my comment that was the last one under the heading Criticism that DU kept deleting. This is mild criticism written in a non-insulting manner and the reason 700 people left. I'm assuming that the heading Criticism is the correct place to enter this.
Last paragraph of Criticism (Zoraida's edit)
Another forum was started in fall 2005 called Progressive Independent, a community of Left-leaning Progressives who hold Democratic Party politicians as accountable as Republican politicians. Its members are mostly progressive and independent, though there are many who are still affiliated with the Democratic Party. It broke away in protest of what they claim, is DU's ideological tilt towards the Democratic Leadership Council, a centrist group that seeks to move the party right. Progressive Independent has a membership fast approaching 800 members including Progessive heros like Stan Goff and Joe Pageant. Democratic Underground has forbidden all mention of PI on their forum because many of their best and brightest members migrated over there.
[edit] Mislabeled vandalism
Hi. Just wanted to give you a heads up on a user who you mistakenly tagged as a vandal with a {{test2}}. The edits, which were to Effect of Hurricane Katrina on Mississippi, were reverted here (and correctly so, for copyvio), and the comment added here. A welcome template and copyvio advisory would have been far more appropriate; having left unwarranted vandalism warnings several times before myself, I can sympathize with making the inevitable errors when patrolling page after page of edits. Thought you'd like to know about it. Tijuana Brass 16:16, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vandal blocks
Hi, Sceptre. I have two requests for you. First, could you please try to limit blocks of anonymous IPs to a few hours at a time? It seems that you blocked User:208.180.197.2 on Monday for 48 hours or somesuch. The block affected me, too, as I use the same school computer network as the person you were trying to stop. Second, it would be a courtesy to other editors if you would register an email address through your Wikipedia account, especially since you are an administrator. For the duration of the block, I had no way of contacting you. Thanks, — BrianSmithson 17:10, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Tim Pat Coogan
Thank you for rv the censorship taking place on the Tim Pat Coogan wikipage, but they won't stop. There is clear collusive censorship going on on this site (Demiurge, Ali-oops, Jtdirl, et al) and as an administrator you should be aware of that.
216.194.3.89 02:43, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
P.S. -- they have even been known to delete my messages left on other Wikipedian's discussion or talk pages!! I hope you get this!
[edit] Thanks for welcoming me
