[edit] Sesame Street

Please be more cautious when reverting vandalism (and honestly I do not think that what you reverted was vandalism). You also undid my edit removing an invalid link from the External links section (Google Video searches are not valid links as per WP:EL). Thanks for your efforts in fighting problem edits on Wikipedia. ju66l3r 23:57, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cut-and-paste moves

I noticed you made a cut-and-paste move of Superman IV: The Quest for Peace from F to f. Cut-and-paste moves result in the loss of edit histories and should not be done. You should use the move function at the top of the page, and if that does not work due to the article having a history, please follow the procedure on Wikipedia:Requested moves in order to get the page moved. Thanks.  OzLawyer / talk  17:40, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

I see. The history is still there, it's just harder to get to if you're looking for it. Next time I'll make the proper request. Thanks for your help. —scarecroe 23:26, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A couple of reminders

Hi,

When using certain template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:test}} instead of {{test}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template.

Also: Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you!

Thanks! :)

Ah, yes. I sometimes forget the subst. Thank you! —scarecroe 01:16, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
