Leaving aside the needlessly unpleasant tone of your message to me, and the peculiar idea that money decides the use of language, the question doesn't in fact concern geography — "artefact" is a correct spelling of the world everywhere that English is spoken (see [1], which cites the Random House Unabridged Dictionary and the Funk & Wagnall's Dictionary among others). --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 09:08, 6 October 2005 (UTC)
