Scars of the Crucifix is Deicide's 7th studio album, released in February 2004 and their first album under new label Earache Records. The title-track, Scars of the Crucifix, was used for their first ever music video, filmed in Nottingham. This was also the last album to feature the Hoffman brothers on guitar.
About 20 seconds after the end of 'The Pentecostal', there is a hidden track played on piano.
