Scar (singer)

Scar is a new R&B singer from Columbus, Mississippi currently signed to Big Boi of OutKast's Purple Ribbon Records.

He made his professional singing debut on the Sly & The Family Stone Tribute LP on a song called "You Caught Me Smilin'". His debut album called Scar'd For Life is set to be released in 2006. On the Got Purp? Vol 2 label collective, Scar was on the two songs "U Got Me!!!" and "What Is This?" with Big Boi and Cee-Lo respectively.

He is also featured on the single "Morris Brown" by Big Boi with Sleepy Brown off of OutKast's Idlewild soundtrack which he has performed live multiple times.

He joins Sleepy Brown and Janelle Monáe singing much of the background vocals in numerous songs off the album. His latest appearance is on Diddy's new album, Press Play, released on October 17th 2006; he's featured in the song Wanna Move, with Ciara, Big Boi and Diddy himself.
