Scandalous was the first single from Mis-Teeq's sophomore album, Eye Candy. Released in 2003, the song became a major hit in the UK, Australia and many European countries. In 2004, the song was chosen as the trio's debut single in the U.S.. However, it managed to peak at #35 on Billboard's Hot 100. One possible reason for such a low peak in the US is that the song was also chosen as the lead song in one of 2004's biggest flops, Catwoman.
