Scadding's

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Scadding's is one of the ten houses at Upper Canada College in Toronto, Canada. It won the Prefect's Cup, an inter-house sports trophy, most recently in 2000, and before that in 1997 and 1998. The house finished in third place in the 2003/2004 school year, but as of late is in a rebuilding stage with respect to athletics. It is one of the more recently-created houses. It was named after Henry Scadding, the first boy enrolled in the school in 1829. He was also Head Boy of the school for three years in a row, and later became a teacher at the college. The house's colour is teal. The house recently suffered the loss of long-serving head house adviser Bart Badali, who had been in the house for around 15 years.
