Figure showing ellipses of a common eccentricity (e=0.9) being scaled by λ2, where λ=1 (blue), 2 (green) and 3 (red). Useful in illustrating the Lie transformation that results in the conservation of the Laplace-Runge-Lenz vector. Made by me using my own GPL software (written 29 November 2006), visualized using xmgrace and released under the GFDL.
