Saul (Hebrew Shaul meaning "borrowed") is:

    • Saul of Rehoboth on the River, a king of Edom (Gen. 36:37, 38); called Shaul in 1 Chr. 1:48.
    • Shaul, a son of Simeon and a Canaanitish woman according to Genesis 46:10 and Exodus 6:15, was one of the 70 souls to migrate to Egypt with Jacob.
