Satyaputra was a small kingdom situated on the eastern valley of Malaya mountains (Anamala, Palani and Nila Giri). They were surrounded by the powerful Keralas in the west and the Pandyas and Cholas in the east. They were mentioned in the Puranas as well as in ancient Tamil literature.They were a part of the Kongu country.It is evident from the Gummireddipura plates thet Satyaputra is none other than the famous Adhiyaman dynasty.
