Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute is a film institute in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The institute was established in 1995, and was named after the acckaimd film director Satyajit Ray.

The institute is an autonomous society with a Governing Council, Standing Finance Committee and an Academic Council.The institute is under the Ministry of Information and Broadcastingrun of the Government of India. It has the following departments:
- The Department of Direction & Screenplay Writing
- The Department of Sound Recording
- The Department of Editing
- The Department of Motion Picture Photography
Also the institute has the following facilities:
- Film & TV Studio
- Library
- Film Library
- Regional Centre of the National Film Archive
- Auditorium & Screening Facilities
