Saturday Night Alive
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Saturday Night Alive is a term used in many Christian churches.[citation needed]
In some churches it is an outreach drama presentation. The drama is usually led by a team of young people and the targeted audience is also the teenagers of today. The presentation is written mainly by young people, so that the targeted audience can relate to it. This presentation is a spoof of the show Saturday Night Live. Inherently, this drama contains mostly comical and humorous scenes. The purpose of this drama is to evangelize and also bring re-dedicated Christians back to the church.
In other churches, it is simply a name for a Saturday night fellowship.
