From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
SATORU -- Japanese term (悟 / さとる). Simply translates as the verb, "to know" or "understand" -- however, Satoru is more closely related to "higher knowledge". In Zen, Satoru is the root to the Zen Buddhist word, Satori, "enlightment."
