Sarule is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 110 km north of Cagliari and about 15 km southwest of Nuoro. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,864 and an area of 52.6 km2.[1]
Sarule borders the following municipalities: Mamoiada, Ollolai, Olzai, Orani, Ottana.
