Sarmentose
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A sarmentose is a type of plant which has long slender stolons, or "runners". An example sarmentose is the strawberry.
Sarmentose is also a sugar (C7H14O4) obtained from sarmentocymarin by hydrolysis. It is stereoisomeric with cymarose, and closely related to digitalose, which is obtained from digitalin by hydrolysis.
